Coach Earle & Jean Bruce's Charitable Benefits, dba Buckeye Charitable Benefits, was formed in 2008 to help the Coach and his wife in their fundraising efforts to support the Earle & Jean Bruce Alzheimer's Research Fund in Neurology at OSU.  Through Buckeye Charitable Benefits, the Bruce family hosts "Earle Bruce's Beat Michigan Tailgate", The James E. Horne Memorial Golf Outing, and works in conjunction with Coach Jim Tressel for "Coach Tressel's Buckeye Football Spring Kick-Off".  All three events benefit Alzheimer's Research, and the Spring Kick-Off splits the proceeds with the Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Prevention Research, also at OSU.

Earle Bruce's Beat Michigan Tailgate is always the Friday before the Michigan game - this year, Friday, November 20, 2009 at OSU's French Fieldhouse.
